Thai Peanut Turkey Burgers
source: Cara's Cravings
Ingredients
8oz ground turkey
1 medium carrot, shredded1 large scallion, minced
1/4 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp chili garlic sauce
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
freshly ground salt & pepper
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp light mayonnaise
handful of cilantro, finely minced (I omitted since I had no cilantro on hand.)
1-2 tsp chili garlic sauce
hamburger buns of your choice
mixed greens
Combine burger ingredients a mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. (I cooked mine on our George Foreman.) Form the turkey mixture into two patties. Cook for about 7-10 minutes per side, until cooked through. Serve on buns with cilantro-chili mayo and greens.

This was a really great recipe!
It looks so tasty - what a great idea! My hubby likes to try to swipe stuff off my plate too :)
I love turkey burgers because you can play around so much with them, and for some reason, everyone is much more open to "weird" ingredients than in regular burgers.
Glad you liked them! If you guys like cilantro, be sure to try it next time - it's such a nice compliment to the peanut flavor.
Only two burgers is tragic! I've doubled the recipe both times I've made it and been glad for it. Great leftovers for the next day :)
these look really good. Interesting recipe i m trying this one :)
Thanks for sharing another excellent recipe. You are on a roll!
